Terms and conditions

This is a translation for your convenience. In case of any difference, the Dutch version is legally binding.

1. Who we are

CCRally Events, Weidsteeg 105, 4102 AC Culemborg, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 55029825, VAT NL001928070B64, [email protected]. These terms apply to membership, to taking part in individual events and to the use of the members area.

2. Account

To take part you create an account. You are responsible for your login details and for what happens under your account. We never ask for your password and we never send it to you. Use of the members area is subject to the community and rally rules.

3. Membership

Membership costs € 750 per year excluding VAT and runs for twelve months from the start date.
Payment is made by direct debit. When you sign up, you give us a mandate for this.
Every year you receive an email three weeks before the renewal, with the date and the amount. A reminder follows a few days before the direct debit.
If a direct debit fails, or if you reverse it, we charge € 15 in reversal costs. Until the payment has been received, your access to the members area is paused.
Admission is not automatic: we apply an entry level for the car. If you are not admitted, we do not collect anything.
Membership renews automatically every year. You can cancel up to 14 days before the renewal date, in your members area under My membership or via the link in the renewal announcement email. Your membership then ends at the end of the current period and your account becomes a free Driver account. After that you no longer have access to the members area, your profile, your garage and your rally photos.

4. Taking part in events

You register via the website. Your registration is final once payment has been completed, or once we confirm it.
Some events have a limited number of places. Full is full, in order of registration.
The price per event is shown on the event page, together with what is included.
Your car must meet the entry level, be insured and be in good condition. You need a valid driving licence.

5. Payment and invoice

You can pay by iDEAL or, where offered, at the desk on location. You receive the invoice by email as soon as the payment has been processed. Prices on the website include VAT, unless “excl. VAT” is stated explicitly.

6. Cancellation

If you cancel more than fourteen days before the event, you get your entry fee back minus any costs we have already incurred.
If you cancel within fourteen days before the event, a refund is no longer possible, because venues and catering have been booked by then. You may transfer your place to someone else who meets the conditions; please let us know in advance.
Statutory cooling-off period: online purchases normally come with a fourteen-day cooling-off period. This does not apply to leisure activities on an agreed date, which includes our events.
If we have to cancel an event, we offer an alternative date or refund the entry fee.

7. On the road

You always drive at your own risk and follow the traffic rules. Our routes are not a race and there is no timing. You follow the instructions of the organisation. Anyone who behaves unsafely or puts others at risk can be excluded from taking part without a refund.

8. Liability

Damage to your own car, to third parties or to property is covered by your own insurance. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the event or membership concerned, except in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.

9. Photos and video

During events we take photos and videos that we use for our website, newsletter and social media. If you prefer not to appear in them, let us know. See also our privacy statement.

10. Changes and applicable law

We may change these terms. If a change is to your disadvantage, we will let you know in advance. These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you have a complaint, we would like to hear it first, via [email protected].
